If you’re new here, I’m Carli — a Michigan-based wedding and senior photographer. This season feels like a big one for me, both personally and professionally, so I wanted to share a little update and re-introduce myself.
I graduated from Spring Arbor University in May, which still feels a little unreal. I studied graphic design, and having that background has naturally shaped the way I see and create. Photography has been something I’ve grown alongside for years, and now I’m in a season where I get to focus on it more fully and intentionally.
Right now, I’m working with DanceMakers, a dance convention that tours across the country, as part of their media team. Traveling and capturing dancers in fast-paced, high-energy environments has been such a fun creative challenge and has pushed the way I shoot and work in many ways. It’s already influencing how I approach my other work and my own business as a professional.
Behind the scenes, I’m prepping all of my client materials for the 2026 season—refining the experience, dialing in workflows, and making sure everything feels thoughtful from inquiry to final gallery. I care a lot about creating an experience that is thoughtful, intentional, and seamless for my clients! So, right now while I am in a slow season, I am focusing on strengthening all of the behind the scenes details for my couples and seniors!
Now for some fun facts about me !!!
- My favorite places to work, edit, and get things done are in local coffee shops!
- My go-to coffee order is an iced caramel latte, and sometimes add a splash of vanilla as well!
- Matching sweat sets are basically my uniform
- Scrapbook journaling has been my favorite hobby recently. Throwing photos, stickers, and paper together has been such a creative outlet for me!
Thank you SO much for being here and taking the time to get to know me a little more! I’m looking forward to what the next season brings and to continuing to grow alongside the people I get to work with!
We will chat soon!
